2020 has also brought many innovations within our team.
Luca Piana – the engineer in our Technical Office that many of you have also had the opportunity to meet at our fairs around the world – is going to move to Malaysia for Pericoli Asia Pacific as Head of the Engineering Division.
His tasks, in the next 2 years, will be to share with customers, suppliers and production dpt. the knowledge he acquired within the years he spent in our headquarter.
Furthermore, he will support the development and production of new products in the Malaysian factory ensuring the quality and reliability standards which Termotecnica Pericoli is so proud of.
The focus will always be on the customer in order to create products and guarantee services able to satisfy their needs thus actively collaborating with the sales department in order to make the most of market opportunities and trends.
The position left open in Pericoli Italia will be covered, instead, by Stefano Gallizia.
Stefano, born in 1978, has a degree in Naval Engineering at the University of Genoa and has always carried out management duties throughout his career.
The most significant work experience was with a famous Italian-French shipping company for which he was in charge of office-ship coordination with responsibility for spare parts and scheduled maintenance on board.
He used to work in multi-ethnic teams and sailing, he developed several projects both in Italy and abroad, also pursuing his passion for travel and the desire to discover new places.
Once he turned 40, he decided to look for new professional challenge by joining Termotecnica Pericoli and covering the role of Coordinator of the Industrialization Office.
